Rider Information

The Loop is a weekend circulator serving four Quad City communities along the Mississippi River. Get on The Loop and have four times the fun!


The Loop operates four buses and two routes serving the communities of Bettendorf and Davenport, Iowa and Rock Island and Moline, Illinois. The Blue Loop travels in a clockwise direction, and the Orange Loop travels in a counter-clockwise direction within The Loop service area. Days and Hours of Service

The Loop operates on Friday and Saturday evenings from approximately 6:00 pm - 3:30 am. Service is primarily provided from May through October, but may be provided during special events such as New Year's Eve, St. Patrick's Day, and others as identified on our News and Media page.

Loop Zones

Riders may board The Loop at a designated stop or any safe location along a route within a Loop Zone. Loop Zones are identified as circles on The Loop Map, and primarily consist of the downtown areas and other destinations such as The Village of East Davenport and the Augustana Campus in Rock Island.

Unlimited Day Pass: $3
Seniors (60+), Disabled, and Medicare Card Holders: $.50

The Loop also accepts the QC PassPORT. The monthly QC PassPORT costs $30 and provides unlimited travel on The Loop, as well as fixed-route service for Bettendorf Transit, Davenport CitiBus, and Metro for a calendar month.

Bike Racks

All Loop buses are equipped with bike racks to accommodate up to three (3) bikes. Combine your trip on The Loop with a ride on one of the QC's riverfront trails, or with the Channel Cat Water Taxi ! A video with tips on how to load your bike onto a bike rack is available here.
